How should I prepare, and what should I wear for my portrait session?
Answer: Once booked, I will send you a tailored prep guide with tips on color choices, wardrobe styling, and grooming. Bringing 2 to 3 outfit variations (e.g., formal blazer vs. relaxed smart-casual) allows us to capture diverse looks for different platforms during your session.
I’m uncomfortable in front of the camera—how do you guide posing?
Answer: Most people feel a bit camera-shy at first! My approach focuses on natural, unforced movement and gentle direction rather than stiff poses. We will move through light conversational prompts and relaxed setups to ensure your photos look authentic and approachable.
How do we select our final retouched images?
Answer: Within 3 business days of our session, you will receive a private online proofing gallery to review all polished selects. From there, you simply favorite the photos you'd like retouched according to your package limits (or select additional favorites ala carte).
What does "full retouching" include?
Answer: Final images receive meticulous attention: skin texture smoothing, stray hair cleanup, subtle eye brightener, color balance, and background touch-ups. Retouching is kept natural and polished so you still look like yourself at your best.
How do group and corporate team portrait logistics work on-site?
Answer: For team shoots, I bring a portable lighting setup and backdrop directly to your office or venue. We establish a matched lighting template so every employee's individual headshots remain visually cohesive across your company website, org chart, or press releases.
