FAQ

How do I book a session or secure my shoot date?
Answer: The process starts by submitting an inquiry form through this page. Once we confirm availability and align on package details or a custom proposal, I will send over a digital agreement and an invoice for a 50% retainer deposit. Your date is officially reserved as soon as the agreement is signed and deposit received.
How far in advance should I reach out to schedule?
Answer: For individual portraits, headshots, and standard commercial shoots, booking 2 to 4 weeks in advance is recommended to secure your preferred date and allow time for pre-shoot planning. For large events, drone missions, and multi-stage special projects, reaching out 4 to 8 weeks prior ensures ample time for site walkthroughs and licensing clearance.
What is your standard turnaround time for photos?
Answer: Turnaround times vary slightly depending on the scope of the shoot:
Portraiture & Headshots: Proofing gallery delivered within 3 business days; final retouched hero assets delivered within 5–7 business days.
Commercial, Editorial & Events: Standard delivery is 7 to 10 business days.
Need assets sooner? Expedited 24-to-48-hour rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
How will my final files be delivered, and how long do I have access to them?
Answer: All deliverables are provided via a high-resolution, password-protected Pixieset online gallery. You will be able to download full-resolution files for print and web-optimized files for digital platforms. Galleries remain active and downloadable for 90 days, so saving your assets to local storage upon delivery is recommended.
What if we need to reschedule or the weather doesn't cooperate?
Answer: Life happens, and Southern California weather occasionally surprises us! Outdoor shoots and drone operations affected by rain, excessive wind, or poor light will be rescheduled to the next mutually available date at no extra charge. For client-initiated postponements, your deposit can be transferred to a new date if notice is provided at least 48 hours prior to the shoot.
Do you travel outside of Southern California for shoots?
Answer: Yes! While primarily based in regional Southern California (covering Orange County, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas), travel for commercial campaigns, editorial stories, and special installation projects outside the area can be arranged. Travel fees (mileage, lodging, or transport) will be transparently outlined in your initial proposal.
